Bead Table Wednesday

A necklace I started working on last night.

I snapped up this pendant and a few more goodies in a destash sale last week. Unfortunately, the artists were not listed and I can't recognize all of them. Please let me know if you do.

I'm so excited to finally have a Jade Scott pendant! And how cute is that owl clasp?!

Memorial Day Weekend

 Waterford Beach, CT

This holiday weekend was a hot and humid one! I did make it out to the beach one day, but then decided I'd rather sit in front of the fan, create jewelry and stay cool :)

Lucky Ducky

Luck was on my side earlier this week, when I won a facebook giveaway from the talented Lorelei. I received a box full of beautiful lampwork beads, large jasper, rhodonite and rose quartz gemstones, tons of artisan ceramic beads and pendants by Gaea Handmade and Keith O'Connor, as well as cord and czech glass beads. I was in awe at all these goodies and the pure generosity of Lorelei! I am truly grateful for this gift.
And now some for some eye candy!

My luck didn't run out, when on Wednesday, Kate and I met with the owner of  Mystic's The Emporium and she has agreed to sell our jewelry! I haven't had my jewelry in a shop yet, so I'm hoping this will be a good, big step for me.

A belated gift

Last year for Christmas, I received a Visa gift card from one of my aunts and uncles. I had been saving it for something special; a treat for myself. When I was cleaning out my wallet the other day, I noticed the card stuck in one of the pockets and decided that I should probably use it already! So, I logged onto limabeads.com and got myself some gorgeous new beads! I got a few gemstone strands, including Russian Amazonite. The color is incredible in these stones! I also treated myself to some great art beads, something that I rarely spring for. Below are pictures of the cute owl bead and fantastic green pendant made by Gaea Handmade.
